iCaroler™is an iPhone app that allows players to control virtual Christmas carolers on their iPhones. iCaroler utilizes a proprietary synchronization technology that can harmonize up to 6 iPhone carolers. Video can be seen here.
Our online and mobile experiences draw us into the very private space of the screen. iCaroler is intended to bring the experience of a mobile app into the physical social space of the players. This is based on my master’s thesis statement: “Electronic media tends to void space by drawing the viewer into the space of the medium. My work aims to enhance space by drawing the media into the space of the viewer.”
