The Trichord is an electronic keyboard based upon a hexagonal organization of musical pitch. The instrument and the organizational system was awarded a US Patent in 2002.
In 2001 I went on a 2 week concert tour of Japan playing the Trichord with an ensemble of percussionists led by Hiroshi Chu Okubo.
