This is a musical instrument/light sculpture which is organized according to geometric principles designed for the Trichord. It operated as both a MIDI controlled musical instrument and as a MIDI playback device. A built-in micro-controller stored algorithmically generated musical sequences that were based upon an exploration of the geometric space described in the Trichord patent. The MIDI controller looked like this:
